Heus Mfg. Co. is one of Wisconsin’s first SBA certified 8a manufacturing facilities.  Since being certified as minority owned, Heus has set itself from the competition by attaining QS9000 quality certification in October of 2002, one of the highest quality standards available in the machining world. This eye toward quality helped Heus Mfg. Co. win the Forward Award for quality. 

Another 1st, Heus Mfg. Co. will be the state's first 8a firm to transition to TS16949.  This is basically the highest level of third party registration and will open new markets to Heus Mfg. Co., including the automotive market.

Heus also became one of the states first 8a, 6 sigma manufacturing facilities, graduating our first black belt in October of 2004.  Projects to date have included Set up Reduction, Labor Performance, and Inventory Reduction.  This business methodology is slowly becoming embedded in our personnel and is helpful in spotting and eliminating waste and non value added activities, where ever they exist.

Finally, we have been able to add over 40 valuable manufacturing jobs to our states payroll in the last two years.  This is a sign that America can compete, and win in the global market.  If quality, cost, and on time deliveries are important, then Heus is perfect for you.
